

Adele Bridges RVN
Head Nurse
Adele joined the team at Shannon Lodge in December 2013. She has worked in veterinary practice for many years and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2012 from Bottle Green College. Adele has a particular interest in weight clinics and dental care. At home she has two small children and a mischievous Border Terrier called Emmie.


Louise Morris RVN
Louise previously worked for us as a qualified nurse from 1999 to 2012 but left to start a family. She returned in 2019 as our receptionist but in 2020 she completed a period of training to regain her qualification as an RVN.
Louise has a dog called Woody and a chicken named Shadow. Outside of work, Louise enjoys camping with her family and going to VW festivals with her Beetle.

Rachel Schofield RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Rachel joined Shannon Lodge as a full time student nurse in 2020 after undertaking a work placement with us in 2019. Rachel is now a qualified nurse and passed her exams in April 2022 .
At home, Rachel has a dog called Dusty and outside of work she is a Guide Leader for the Girl Guides, which keeps her very active.

Laura Smalley RVN
Laura has worked at Shannon Lodge since January 2015 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in July 2016 after completing her college course at Bottle Green Training in Melbourne, Derbyshire. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, baking and dog walking. Laura has a cocker Spaniel called Maisie and a three-legged cat called Oscar of whom she rescued.


Kay Chapman
Patient Care Assistant
Kay began working as a PCA at Shannon Lodge in 2020 after previously working for three years as a receptionist for another veterinary practice. The role has enabled her to become more hands-on with the animals which she enjoys the most.
Kay has a dog called Milli and two rabbits called Treelo & Tiki. In her spare time, Kay loves spending time with her grandson.


Ruby Le Bosquet
Patient Care Assistant
Ruby joined the practice in 2018 as a Saturday receptionist whilst studying for an Animal Science degree at Nottingham Trent University. Ruby has now completed her degree and is now one of our PCA until starts her Veterinary Medicine degree in spring 2022.
She has two Border Terriers called Hettie and Agnes and enjoys spending her free time with them.
