Francis Flynn MVB MRCVS
Principal Veterinary Surgeon
Francis graduated as a veterinary surgeon from University College Dublin in 1983. He worked for several years in the West of Ireland before moving to England in 1987. Francis then worked in a private practice in London where he developed his interest in small animals, which he furthered at the PDSA in Essex and again later at the PDSA in Nottingham from 1990-1998. Shannon Lodge was established by Francis in 1999 where he has continued his interest in general practice. Francis particularly enjoys performing all aspects of general surgery. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and watching sport.
Arne Nostelthaller DMV MRCVS
After qualifying from the vet school at the University of Vienna, Austria in 1999, Arne completed his doctorate thesis in coronary arteries in dogs. Arne has worked in all branches of small animal practice, including running his own practice in Austria and working there, as well as in the UK and USA. In his spare time he likes to take his Old English Sheepdog, Dusty for walks and enjoys playing the guitar.
Claire Sullivan MRCVS BVSc
After graduating from Nottingham University with an animal science degree, Claire went on to study veterinary science at Liverpool University. Since qualifying in 2007 Claire has been working at Shannon Lodge where she enjoys all aspects of first opinion general practice. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dogs and going to spin classes. As a little challenge for herself in which she ran the Robin Hood half marathon and the Woolaton Hall 10k.
